Permissions Needed
- Access to photos, media, and files to enable HTTP Custom to read and write configurations.
- Make and manage phone calls for generating hardware identification (hwid) and reading ISP card info.
- Access to device location (for OS >= 8 / Oreo) to read SSID.
To share your connection through tethering
- Start HTTP Custom and wait for it to connect.
- Switch on hotspot/USB tethering.
- Check the log to find the tethering IP:port server details as a proxy. If not shown, the default proxy for Hotspot is 192.168.43.1, and for USB Tethering is 192.168.42.129 port 7071.
- The client connects to the hotspot and sets the proxy client using the log info from HTTP Custom. For desktop users, utilize proxifier and set the proxy type as HTTPS.
